Tenant certification processing is one of the most labor-intensive activities for affordable housing managers. Fortunately, this is an area where Bostonpost Property Manager® offers a tremendous help.
The system automates certification steps wherever possible including template forms, automatic reminders, print management, tracking of verification letters and more.
Easy-to-use Task wizards walk the user through the following certification steps:
Recertification processing can be selected for all or some of the properties and tenants. Optionally, recertifications can be processed one tenant at a time.
Recertification processing selection window:
The Bostonpost Property Manager® annual recertification process organizes information for fast follow-up and tracking. For example, this window shows, by business, what reference forms have not been returned and which tenants they are for:

All tenant references, both personal and business, are stored with the tenant's history. Adding and updating tenant records are easy processes to maintain. Because business contact information is stored in Property Manager's central database, any time that common information is updated, all records that reference the information are updated. For example, if the local drug store changes its phone number, the reference history for each tenant associated with that drug store is automatically updated.

After entering amounts and frequency, the Income & Expense worksheet calculates gross income and any permissible allowances or deductions for programs using adjusted annual income.
