Document Library

One of the most powerful and time-saving features of Bostonpost Property Manager® is the Document Library that includes hundreds of MS Word document templates covering all aspects of your business, from applications to violation letters. Publishing all tenant records from the Document Library ensures that all documents used are the approved and up-to-date versions.


Any of the document templates in the Document Library can be altered to your liking or completely new documents can also be added.

A large collection of merge fields are provided such as tenant name, address, current rent, etc. that are pasted into document templates so that variable information is retrieved from the database when document templates are printed.

In addition to adding custom documents to the Document Library, you can upload custom letterhead. Whether your entire company uses a standard letterhead or each community has its own unique letterhead, the Document Library can be set up to ensure that the appropriate headers and footers are printed on your documents.

Document Groups

Collections of documents can be organized into groups so that they are automatically selected and generated when you complete certain actions within the software. An example of this is the group of documents produced during the Annual Recertification wizard. The print group for this wizard could include the Initial Notice of Annual Recertification and Lease documents. The print group allows you to print the same documents each time you process an Annual Recertification.

Standard Document Templates

Over 300 template documents, complete with merge fields, are provided within Bostonpost Property Manager. Users can modify or add any documents as needed. Below is a list of documents that come standard with Property Manager's Document Library with links to the documents. In some cases, only links to the HUD document version is provided below however all LIHTC, USDA, PHA documents are provided.
